We’re not pieces in a game called ‘chess,’ and I’m not obliged to wait for White’s move to make my own. Anyone can leave the board and become something greater than a pawn. If you ask me, ‘Why are you here?’ - I’m just a pawn who walked off the battlefield. I haven’t ceased to exist; I’ve simply understood the game’s purpose and chose to escape the pressure from all sides. I’m sure I’m not the only person on Earth who’s ever wondered what awaits them at the end of the game.
